2009 12 Metre World Championship

Seems Like Old Times

17 12-Metres competed in the 2009 12 Metre Worlds, started by the NYYC's Race Committee aboard America. This day, Saturday, September 26th, was the 26th Anniversary of the NYYC's loss of the America's Cup in 1983. In the America's Cup, the 12 Metres reigned supreme from 1958-1987.  Michael Levitt photos.
