33rd America's Cup

Keep up on Web or Web TV

While the race schedule is wholly dependent on the weather, the basic idea is that the Match will be won by the first yacht to win two races. Live coverage will start on race days at 9:45 a.m. local time (3:45 a.m. Eastern Standard Time). Most of the web sites listed will archive the races, so you can watch when convenient. Races will be attempted every other day beginning Monday February 8th. If a race is not started on a given day, or is abandoned for whatever reason, racing will continue on the next scheduled race date (Wednesday the 10th, Friday the 12th, Sunday the 14th, etc.).

Rolex Miami OCR

January 30, 2010, Miami  -- NYYC members Anna Tunnicliffe, left photo, and Amanda Clark, right, won their classes in the Rolex Miami OCR. Tunnicliffe, the Olympic Gold Medalist in the Laser Radial in 2008, won Women's Match Racing with crew of Molly Vandemoer and Debbie Capozzi; they defeated Lucy MacGregor’s team from Great Britain in a highly charged, best-of-five series. 2008 Olympians Amanda Clark and Sarah Chin won an impressive gold medal in the Women’s 470, after taking a year off since the 2008 Games in Qingdao, China. Leading into today’s medal races, they were two points away from the top (the top three were only separated by one point each) and finished fifth in today’s race, which secured their overall win. Andy Horton, of the NYYC, and crew James Lyne finished second in the Star Class, after leading the 24-boat fleet throughout the regatta.
