HC: Race Week at Newport

Friday, July 16^th - Saturday, July 24^th

Always one of the highlights of the sailing season, NYYC Race Week at Newport presented by Rolex, will begin this year with a traditional Captains' Meeting at Harbour Court on Friday, July 16^th.  An opening reception will follow in the Hospitality Villa that will be open for all particpants every evening from 1700 to 2000 for refreshments and daily awards. 

The week's racing will be highlighted by three social events that all NYYC members and their guests are invited to participate in: a Lobster Bake on Saturday evening, July 17^th, a Layday BBQ on Tuesday, July 20^th and the Rolex Gala Awards Dinner Party on Saturday, July 24^th.

The Lobster Bake will begin at 1900 on the lower lawn.  Reservations are $65 per person, all inclusive (chit bar).  Dress is sailing attire. 

The Layday BBQ begins at 1800 on the lower lawn. Reservations are $35 per person, all inclusive (chit bar).  Dress is sailing attire.

The Rolex Gala and Awards Dinner begins with cocktails at 1800 in the tent on the lawn.  Reservations are $75 per person, all inclusive, including wine at dinner (chit cocktails).  Dress is smart casual.

Reservations are required for all social events and can be made by contacting the Special Events Office at (401) 845-9476 or banquethc@nyyc.org.  Wristbands for entry to the Hospitality Villa are available for $50 for adults and $35 for those under 21.
