ALASKA EXPEDITION

May 29 - June 5, 2010

In preparation for the upcoming expedition to Alaska, the Cruising Committee of the NYYC has chartered National Geographic MV Sea Lion. She is a twin ship to the Sea Bird, Lindblad’s two expedition ships that are uniquely suited for undiscovered areas that will be explored during the eight day and seven night expedition along the coast of Alaska from Sitka to Juneau. On May 29th members and guests will board the 62-passenger Sea Lion where the excitement begins. Each day will bring opportunities to discover the area’s bountiful sea life and majestic scenery. Members will have access to the sturdy fleet of Zodiacs and kayaks for making the twice-daily landings and excursions ashore. They will also have access to experience offered from the Lindblad Expedition Leader, Naturalists and Expert Guides.
